Programs and Initiatives
Explore the heart of Katlyn's H.A.L.O Project, where our community support, advocacy programs, and outreach initiatives come to life. This page delves into our dedicated efforts to encourage and support families during that first "Overdose" phone call to the tragic moments of having to bury your child.
Family Support
At Katlyn's H.A.L.O Project, family support is the cornerstone of our mission. We are committed to fostering a supportive environment where families can access essential resources and immediate services. Our project is designed to address immediate financial needs, provide information, guidance and offer emotional support. By collaborating with local partners and organizations we ensure that families receive the help it needs no questions asked.
Advocacy Programs
Advocacy is at the heart of what we do at Katlyn's H.A.L.O Project. We strive to be a voice for the voiceless. Our advocacy program focuses on raising awareness about drug and alcohol issues, overdose and fostering a culture of families who have been impacted by this tragic worldwide addiction. Through fundraisers, sponsors and our collaborative efforts with other non-profits and governmental agencies, we aim to create systemic change that significantly supports and helps families with immediate financial needs (body transportation, funeral home, burial, cemetery fees, Service planning and fees, etc.). Our advocacy initiatives are driven by our own personal experiences and the belief that every family deserves equal opportunities to be able to provide a beautiful funeral service for their child and grieve and morn without the fear or struggle of financial hardship.
Community Fundraising
Katlyn's H.A.L.O Project works tirelessly to connect with families in our community, raising awareness and providing crucial support. Our outreach efforts include mobile support, community events, and partnerships with local organizations to ensure that no one is left worrying. Our events highlight our commitment to supporting families in their darkest hours.
